Maxine is a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist and the Practice Manager at Sharon Morrison Physiotherapy and Associates. She graduated in Physiotherapy from the Manchester School of Physiotherapy in 1987 and has worked for over 39 years in the Sutton Coldfield area across both the NHS and private sector.
Her early career included a role as Senior Physiotherapist at Good Hope Hospital. In 1992, Maxine founded Four Oaks Spinal and Sports Physiotherapy Clinic in Mere Green, where she built and developed a large client base and also consulted for Aston Villa Football Club. She later worked as a Specialist Physiotherapist and Deputy Physiotherapy Manager at Spire Little Aston Hospital, collaborating closely with consultants and further establishing her exceptional professional reputation.
For the past 15 years, Maxine has held the role of Practice Manager at Sharon Morrison Physiotherapy and Associates. She specialises in manual therapy within musculoskeletal medicine, with a particular interest in spinal and chronic pain. Her clinical approach is holistic and patient-centred, focusing not only on symptom management but on empowering patients through education, self-management and long-term wellbeing.
Alongside her clinical work, Maxine has also worked within television, serving as Assistant Senior Physiotherapist on ITV’s Dancing on Ice since its launch in 2006 and across all series of Ninja Warrior UK.
